Story behind the product ~ In traditional Africa, shields were used not only as defensive weapons, but also as decorative or ritual objects filled with symbolic meaning. These shields are carved from one piece of wood.
It is thought that the wooden African shield originated from the Tikar tribe in Cameroon.
This is a one-off shield, a collectors piece to be treasured and styled in any room in the home.
