Story behind the product~
These unique baskets have been skilfully hand-woven by artisans in Zimbabwe. Many Tonga women utilise traditional weaving techniques to create these intricately woven vase shaped baskets. The entire basket is crafted from locally harvested organic materials - such as wild grasses, vines and palm leaves.

Please note ~ the measurement is taken from the top edge of the basket, around the basket, to the middle of the base of the basket. Some will be shorter and wider. Others taller and thiner. This is the beauty of each basket being hand created, each one is different in shape, design and appearance.
Each piece has been intricately created by hand. If there are small flaws it is a sign and proof of human touch, making each and every piece unique with tiny little differences.
